The film was written by AC Stephen and Ed D. Wood, Jr. and directed by AC Stephen and is noteworthy as this is Wood s last on screen appearance, playing dual cameo roles as both the gas station attendant Pops and the sheriff, wearing dark shades and a fake moustache. It s a simple storyline, where five women break out of prison trying to find money one of the girls buried before being sent way. 4 are hardened criminals, the 5th was unjustly convicted. Most of the film is spent with the girls traveling around California, encountering hippies, beating up men and ultimately fighting amongst themselves.
